Brockville Women’s Network 2011 Annual Achievement Award.

Each year, a member of Brockville Women’s Network is honoured with an Annual Achievement award for her contribution to BWN and/or the community. This year, Rosanne Richards was presented with this prestigious award at the recent AGM of the organization. Rosanne Richards is well deserving of the Annual Achievement Award. She has been a member of the BWN since 1999 and definitely meets all the goals of the BWN. She is a long serving volunteer of “Operation Harvest Sharing” in both the in-take office (a very difficult job) as well as taking on full responsibility for the “Friendship Garden”, which by the way was named by her. She is also a full time caregiver to her mother who is battling cancer and has truly lived by our motto “WOMEN SUPPORTING WOMEN”.
Rosanne also served as BWN Secretary for 2 years and was co-chair of the Scholarship Committee. For the past few years she has coordinated the Christmas Auction for the scholarship fund.
